Daniel Lim

Associate Professor of Philosophy, Duke Kunshan University

His research interests are at the intersection of philosophy of mind and philosophy of religion, but he is also interested in experimental philosophy, metaphysics and epistemology, philosophy of science, ethics, and computer science.
He co-directs the Center for Analytic Philosophy at Renmin University of China and oversees a Templeton Religion Trust grant that runs through 2020 titled Social, Psychological, and Philosophical Implications of AI.
Lim has a B.A. in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in history and philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge. Before joining Duke Kunshan, he was an associate professor of philosophy at Renmin University of China.
