His research interests focus on the intersection of second language pedagogy and peacebuilding, peace education, and trauma symptoms and healing.
Eberly has an M.A. in teaching English to speakers of other languages from Azuza Pacific University and is finishing an M.A. in conflict transformation from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, Eastern Mennonite University (EMU). He has taught at EMU and several universities in China.
