Meng Wang

Lecturer of Chinese Language, Duke Kunshan University


Wang is familiar with the pedagogical approaches developed by college-level Chinese programs in North America. She has been exploring the use of contextualized design in her teaching practice. In addition to teaching methodology and second language acquisition, she has a keen interest in literature and cognitive science.
Before joining Duke Kunshan, Meng Wang taught Chinese at NYU Shanghai, Hamilton College and Vassar College, as well as at summer programs such as the CET academic program in Shanghai and Princeton in Beijing.
Meng Wang received her B.A. in teaching Chinese as a second language in Suzhou and her M.A. in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Hong Kong.
