His research interest spans distributed systems, machine learning systems, and data center resource disaggregation. Recently, he is specifically focusing on building reliable and resource-efficient systems for large language model serving and training. His teaching interest at Duke Kunshan includes Cloud computing, Software engineering, and Computer architecture.

Jiacheng has published 8 papers on top conferences and journals in the areas of computer systems and software engineering, including SOSP, OSDI, FAST, ASE, ICDCS, DSN, etc.

Jiacheng earned a BSc in Computer Science at Fudan University in 2020 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2024.
