Jaehee is a Lecturer in Public Policy at Duke Kunshan University. Her research fields are public economics and public policy. She is particularly interested in understanding the origins of rising income inequality in the United States and globally since the 1980s, and the rise of finance. She also studies the impacts of social policies designed to address various forms of inequality, including gender and mental health.
Her teaching interests at Duke Kunshan include public sector economics, microeconomics for economics and public policy students, and introductory public policy analysis. She previously worked in business consulting.
She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin.
