张瞳

Tong Zhang's research centers on exploring second language writers' metacognitive development in writing, and understanding multilingual teacher identity and pedagogy development. Her primary research interest focuses on how teachers can better understand and use formative assessment to foster L2 writers' long-term literacy development. Also, Tong's research interest draws upon her passion for using narrative inquiry to understand multilingual teachers' identity and their pedagogy development in relation to linguistic and cultural dimensions.

张坦

His research focus is the intersection of polymer, colloid, and nanoscience. He is especially interested in sustainable low-carbon solutions for industry, including but not limited to energy-saving catalysts, recyclable materials, plastic waste upcycling, and bio-based degradable materials. He is also interested in developing high-performance flexible electronics. He has had papers published in leading academic journals including Annual Review of Materials Research, Nanoscale, Carbon, ChemSusChem, Journal of Physical Chemistry.

张明皓

Her research focuses on the ultimate attainment of adult second language acquisition, with a specific interest in the phenomenon of fossilization (i.e., what is not ultimately acquirable in a second language). Her teaching interests at Duke Kunshan include undergraduate and graduate courses on academic English skills, and coaching sessions for beginner-level Spanish and all-level Chinese. Zhang has a B.A. in English language literature from Capital Normal University, Beijing, an M.A.

张露瑶

Luyao (Sunshine) Zhang is Assistant Professor of Economics and Senior Research Scientist at the Data Science Research Center at Duke Kunshan University (DKU).

曾召金

His expertise lies in Chinese economic and business history; the global history of capitalism, technology, and industry; quantitative data analysis; and digital humanities.

岳剑波

Jianbo Yue's research focuses on cell signaling related to autophagy, endosomal trafficking, metastasis, anticancer immunity, Ca2+ and reactive oxygen species (ROS). His research group established a high-content drug screening platform, and identified and/or synthesized many potent and specific modulators of autophagy or/and endosomal trafficking. His group also established both cell and animal models to evaluate the ability of these compounds to modulate viral infection, tumor metastasis and anti-cancer immunity.

乐嘉骅

His research focus is international political economy, comparative international development, and Chinese politics. He is also interested in applied computation methods in social science, such as text analysis and image processing tools. His work has appeared in the British Journal of Political Science, World Development, among others. He teaches a wide range of topics on international conflict, trade and foreign investment, public opinion, and authoritarian politics. Yue has a B.E. in information security from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, an M.A.
